Structural Tenant Improvements

Salas O’Brien performed structural consulting and design services for a microelectronics manufacturer’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. The scope includes the tenant improvement of an existing 50,000 square foot building. Our team designed the seismic anchorage and on-grade gravity support for major process mechanical equipment, including a 300 kVA emergency generator and enclosure, a new acid waste neutralization (AWN) skid, a new waste lift station, and new 800T chillers.

The facility also required the replacement and upgrade of existing infrastructure, including the cooling towers and the 4000A electrical panel, as well as upgrades to the domestic hot water system.
