Snapping Shoals Water Pollution Control Plant

Salas O’Brien partnered with Rockdale County to upgrade the Snapping Shoals Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). This upgrade allowed Rockdale County to immediately abandon the outdated plant and begin consolidating wastewater treatment from other aging facilities. Our team coordinated closely with the power utility and equipment vendors, managed construction administration, performed on-site inspections, and prepared as-built drawings. The new WPCP represents a significant leap forward in environmental stewardship for our community.

By implementing cutting-edge sequencing batch reactor (SBR) technology, we are not just improving treatment efficiency—we are setting a new standard for regulatory compliance. Our advanced systems for biological nutrient removal, tertiary filtration, and ultraviolet disinfection meticulously treat every drop of wastewater for safety and sustainability.
