Resource Efficiency Management (REM) Services

Salas O’Brien offers REM services to assist NAVFAC Far East in reducing overall energy and water intensity. Services include incorporating energy resilience, cyber-secure design, and efficient features in new constructions, major renovations, and repairs of navy assets. Our efforts align with the Navy’s climate change goals. Our team supports installations in building a strong energy management program through detailed planning, development, execution, and project analysis.

In addition, we assist in preparing and executing black start/energy resilience table-top exercises for energy and water resilience, conducting inventory assessments, and mitigating issues related to facility control systems. Our team offers knowledge and reach-back support to help NAVFAC design, maintain, and advise on properly operating and maintaining systems like PV to ensure energy security and resilience.
