Radiopharmaceutical Facility Fit Out

Salas O’Brien provided engineering and design services to transform an existing shell building into a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Our team outfitted the building with a new office, laboratory, warehouse, and shell production spaces, with a layout that promotes material flow and contamination control. We managed the installation of critical utilities and designed to deliver areas and systems that align with Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) regulations.

Additionally, we incorporated systems that meet radiation safety requirements, including radiation shielding and monitoring. By delivering a compliant, flexible, and utility-ready facility, we positioned the site for efficient expansion into full commercial production.
