The Palm Springs Surf Club is a waterpark that features a state-of-the-art SurfLoch® technology wave pool along with a lazy river, two new restaurants, a gym, a spa, and retail spaces.

Salas O’Brien provided MEP design and engineering services for the project that was executed in three phases and opened to the public in December of 2023. The mechanical design included  HVAC equipment specifications and layout, air distribution layout and design, and associated climate controls design. The plumbing design included water, waste and vent, and drainage piping and distribution within the site and buildings, including water heating design. The electrical design included interior and exterior lighting, and power layout and design, including panel schedules, load calculations, and single line diagram and utility coordination with local utility planner.
