New Wastewater Treatment Plant

Salas O’Brien provided comprehensive electrical, instrumentation and controls design, and construction administration services for the new Essentia Protein wastewater treatment plant. Our team developed detailed electrical specifications, one-line diagrams, panelboard schedules, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and electrical plans. The design included power, grounding, lighting plans, interconnection wiring diagrams, a programmable logic controller (PLC) network diagram, and installation details. We provided seamless coordination with other disciplines and
established the power feed from the plant.

During construction and permitting, our team managed submittal reviews, coordinated project efforts, addressed contractor questions and request for information(RFI), and conducted punch list inspections to facilitate a fully compliant and completed project.
