New Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Plant

Salas O’Brien partnered with Celularity, a biotechnology leader in cellular-based therapies, to deliver integrated design solutions, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, IT, audiovisual, and security systems. Our work enabled Celularity to transform a 150,000-square-foot Class A office building into an FDA-validated, worldclass pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

The client’s biggest ask for this project was for the team to deliver a fully validated space in just ten months, a timeline typically measured in years. We met this goal with rigorous planning, aggressive phasing, and close coordination with the architect and construction manager, overcoming constraints of working inside an existing structure.

By optimizing infrastructure, preserving green space, and minimizing construction waste, we saved Celularity significant time and cost while enabling it to begin operations as envisioned shortly after construction completion.
