New Canning Line

Salas O’Brien provided engineering, procurement, and construction services for Molson Coors’ new canning line. We designed the line for maximum versatility to handle a wide range of beverages, from beers to seltzers and beyond.

Our optimized design improved operational efficiency and reduced waste, energy consumption, rework, and labor requirements. The shift from glass packaging to cans was a strategic move to reduce packaging weight, transportation energy, and overall material impact by removing plastic from the process.
