Mining Area Expansion

Salas O’Brien provided comprehensive engineering design services for a multifaceted mining project across several locations in the remote mountains of Idaho. The design included a facility pad, several ancillary structures, and additional infrastructure at the processing plant. Tasked with coordinating engineering and procurement for a Design-Build contract, our team navigated a critical permitting delay that necessitated switching to Design-Bid-Build.

We developed innovative solutions to protect installed assets in extreme environmental conditions, including long-term storage protocols and revised documentation. By rapidly adjusting contract structures and prioritizing clear records, our team ensured timely project completion while minimizing cost impacts for the client, demonstrating agility in complex industrial challenges.
