Southwest Parking Garage

The new Micron Southwest parking garage refers to a massive, four-story parking structure being built on the Boise, Idaho campus. This project is part of a larger $15 billion site expansion on Federal Way, designed to accommodate thousands of vehicles for employees working at the company’s semiconductor fabrication plant. The Southwest Parking Structure is planned to be designed and constructed utilizing post-tension cast in place concrete of Type I-B construction. Stair towers are planned to be a combination of isolated from the garages with seismic joints and attached within the garage. The parking structure will provide approximately 2,800 parking spaces spread throughout four levels.

The garage will also include an approximately 300-foot-long connector bridge to the north and small connector bridge to the east adjacent probe building. A retaining wall on the northeast portion of the garage will be included in the design and construction of the parking structure.
