McClellan Park Radiological and Environmental Remediation Services

Salas O’Brien supports the ongoing environmental due diligence and remedial clearances at the former McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California. With more than 15 years of experience on this project, the team has contributed to the success of one of the state’s most notable redevelopment efforts, California’s Unique Corporate Community, McClellan Park.

Our team, in collaboration with Tetra Tech and the Air Force Civil Engineer Center, is responsible for radiological and environmental controls in soil remediation. This includes monitoring, field scanning, air monitoring, and soil and water sampling. The California Department of Public Health has approved the release of two sites, and a third site is awaiting final approval. Throughout all field operations, health, safety, and compliance remain the top priorities.
