Manufacturing Battery Assembly Facility

Salas O’Brien provided comprehensive design and engineering services for Toyota’s new battery assembly facility, delivering integrated civil, architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical solutions. Our team designed an all-electric HVAC system and complete building utility infrastructure, including plumbing, restrooms, building management systems, fire protection, and lighting to create a modern, efficient, and fully integrated manufacturing environment. To support the facility’s advanced production processes, we engineered critical systems for compressed air, weld water, reverse osmosis, industrial wastewater collection, cooling towers, electrical distribution, substations, and all interconnection utilities. Beyond the building, we completed full site planning for 125 acres, including utilities, a stormwater management system, perimeter roadways, and employee parking. We also led the development of a new overpass connecting the site to Toyota’s existing plant, providing seamless integration with current operations.
