Lime Production Plant Expansion

Salas O’Brien provided structural and civil engineering design services for Lhoist North America’s lime production expansion in their New Braunfels and Marble Falls plants. Our multidisciplinary team designed energy-efficient vertical kiln shafts, robust foundations, and steel structures for advanced material handling systems linking quarries to the plant. These expansions boost production and efficiency, and support sustainable growth while reducing environmental impact.

Our team commissioned the facilities—each delivering increased capacity to meet escalating industry demand. Each plant’s annual production capacity is 308,000 metric tons of lime.
