Emissions Infrastructure Upgrade

Salas O’Brien partnered with a leading food manufacturer to modernize their outdated emissions control infrastructure. The process equipment exhaust systems were tied to an aging emissions scrubber. We designed and replaced the old system with a new Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (Wet ESP) system with improved filtration. Our team delivered a rigorous phased approach with detailed on-site assessments, 3D laser scanning, and flow-rate analysis to establish accurate baseline conditions. We then developed comprehensive ducting, mechanical, structural, and piping designs to reroute all fryer and dryer systems to the new Wet ESP system. Additionally, our team provided on-site construction management to enable a smooth installation process and minimize downtime. Our expertise delivered a reliable, code-compliant solution that positions the facility for improved air quality performance and operational functionality.
