Jacksonville Jaguars Training Center

Miller Electric Center serves as the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team training facility. Funded by the city of Jacksonville, the training center helped bring the team closer to their community. The space features two full-size grass practice fields, one indoor field, shaded public viewing stands, concession areas, and a team store. The center also has a locker room, training and medical facilities, office space, and a draft room. Salas O’Brien provided designs for low voltage, security, and acoustics to create a state-of-the-art NFL training facility.

Our team streamlined the design to support systems, including scoreboards, cameras, and the PA system, to improve visitor and player experience. The building’s program includes a variety of large areas prone to echoing and our team provided each space with the appropriate acoustic design to eliminate both echoing and noise pollution. These acoustic techniques allowed for clear communication in each area for both players and guests.
