Innovation Campus

IQVIA, a global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry, sought to create an innovative lab sciences campus to connect emerging biotechnology, large pharmaceutical, and medical technology.

Through a comprehensive renovation, Salas O’Brien adapted 300,000 square feet of space in the heart of Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. This newly renovated campus includes state-of-the-art custom pharma development laboratory spaces to support bioanalytical, vaccine, biomarker, and translational science. This cross-disciplined approach to early-stage R&D and exploratory human biomarkers will enable biopharmaceutical companies to accelerate drug development.

We designed new mechanical and electrical systems as part of two large-scale projects that modernized engineered infrastructures to support cutting-edge science with dependable and adaptable systems for several types of scientific spaces, including BSL2 and BSL3 labs.
