High School Renovations and Additions

Salas O’Brien is providing electrical design services for the renovation and expansion of James F. Byrnes High School. The project involves three phases of renovation and additions. We completed the first phase in 2016, which involved renovating the existing high school and adding new facilities. The second phase included a separate demolition project for further renovations and the construction of a new academic wing, which was finished in 2024. The third phase involves additional expansions and is currently in progress.

Our services include power distribution, lighting, HVAC power, fire alarm systems, and low-voltage design. The project was challenging since several areas of the building had to remain operational during construction. By providing reliable and efficient electrical systems, we are helping transform the school into a modern educational facility, enhancing learning environments while minimizing disruptions and ensuring long-term sustainability.
