Food Product Line Relocation

Salas O’Brien provided engineering and project management services for a new food product manufacturing facility process line. Our team coordinated the installation and commissioning of new equipment with both local and remote contractors. The new process equipment includes a wet/dry mixer, pumping equipment for butter transfer and packaging, a garlic micro cutter and pumping system, garlic roasting ovens, and an automated water batching system. We strategically managed the new mixer’s complex placement by completing a manual survey of the production area and creating a flexible 2D layout with utility connection points, allowing for the manufacturing of multiple products. With the addition of the new equipment, we updated the safety analysis to meet local regulations for safer operation. Our team successfully executed this project on a tight schedule, preventing product supply interruptions. The new line enables our client to produce a series of new products and expand their customer base.
