Teva Canada Site-Wide Renovations

Salas O’Brien has partnered with Teva Canada since the early 1990s, delivering mechanical and electrical services across manufacturing, testing, and warehousing sites in Markham, Scarborough, and Stouffville. Our longstanding involvement has supported a broad range of upgrades, retrofits, and facility improvements.

Most recently, our team designed the retrofit of a 35,000 square foot facility and new penthouse at the Markham site. Renovations included converting the space into a low-humidity manufacturing environment, along with dehumidification upgrades tailored to production and filling rooms.

Our work in Scarborough included the Hormone Plant, with specialized systems supporting biological containment and pharmaceutical production, including laminar flow hoods, kill tanks, dust collection, compressed air, and a centralized housekeeping vacuum system.

At the Stouffville site, we supported the expansion of high-potency manufacturing areas and central plant services while maintaining core operations, as well as the development of a 10,000 square foot product testing lab. Across these projects, we have supported Teva’s growing facility needs with site-specific engineering solutions.
