Cotton Bowl Stadium Rehabilitation

Salas O’Brien was a strategic partner in the rehabilitation of the historic 1930 Cotton Bowl Stadium, safeguarding the park’s National Historic Landmark status and rich legacy. Our team focused on modernizing the venue with new technology while honoring its iconic heritage. Throughout its storied history, the stadium has hosted teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, SMU Mustangs, and the annual TX-OU Red River Rivalry. The stadium remains a premier site for major sporting events and concerts. To uphold its reputation as Dallas’ leading outdoor event destination, the stadium has undergone a series of strategic renovations, rehabilitations, and additions.

As part of the 2024 and 2025 remodel, our team updated the West side AV, Telecom, and security to coincide with the renovation. We provided designs for a new writing press, new suites, a new club, and a complete makeover of the three concourses.
