Confidential Food Processing Manufacturer Diversification of a food gradefacility

Salas O’Brien partnered with a global agricultural company that operates a corn processing plant in North America, producing various products such as ethanol, fructose, corn syrup, and gluten. Our team worked closely with the client to deliver mechanical engineering and industrial construction management services for replacing their system that reuses the slurry previously used for ethanol and high-fructose corn syrup. This project aims to increase food-grade starch production by 25%. Additional modifications to the site included new starch dewatering systems, upgrades to the gluten flash dryer, additional storage bins, and a new rail loadout facility.
