The Parc on Jackson

In Dallas’ East Quarter area, bounded by the The Statler, Main Street Garden, Dallas Municipal Building, and Harwood Park, The Parc on Jackson is sited on one of the most prominent downtown Dallas sites left for development. It also fronts the recently completed Harwood Park, a park for downtown residents and families and the final piece of the Downtown Dallas Parks Master Plan.

Salas O’Brien provided structural engineering for the project. We undertook the challenge of designing the structure over an existing multi-level concrete podium; an existing parking garage with two above-ground levels converted into residential units and seven underground parking levels. The new structure starts at level three which required significant strengthening of the podium to support the five stories above. Building amenities include a business center, a fitness center, and storage spaces at level two. The project also includes a retail storefront off Jackson Street.
