Casa Blanca Elementary School

Salas O’Brien played a pivotal role in the design and construction of the new campus that serves 850 students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 6th grade. By collaborating closely with the project Architect, our team recommended updates to the district’s design standards and implemented value-engineering solutions to maximize the available budget. Building MEP systems were designed for efficiency and exceeded California Title 24 standards, reducing energy and water consumption and overall campus operating costs.

The school’s six main buildings house vibrant, future-ready classrooms equipped with advanced audiovisual (A/V) systems, grouped into three two-story “Learning Villages.” Each village offers direct access to dynamic outdoor learning environments and state-of-the-art labs and maker spaces, inspiring collaboration and creativity at every turn.
