Bangor City Hall Renovations

Salas O’Brien provided engineering design services for the renovation of Bangor City Hall, aiding the city in its efforts to improve accessibility, modernize infrastructure, and enhance public service delivery. The project successfully achieved its key objectives, which included upgrading the HVAC systems, enhancing comfort, and establishing a centralized customer service area.

As part of the renovation, several municipal departments, including Assessing, Clerk/Treasury, Code Enforcement, Community and Economic Development, and Planning, are now located on the first floor, along with the Council Chambers. This arrangement makes services more accessible to the public.

Our team also installed a new energy-efficient HVAC system, a federally compliant elevator for enhanced accessibility, and updated safety and security features throughout the building.
