Baltimore Technology Project

Salas O’Brien is providing IT and telecommunications infrastructure design for a USACE facility. The facility had significant limitations, including security and safety vulnerabilities, and fragmented operations for over 1,550 employees across three separate buildings. Our team determined that a single production facility was the most economical and effective solution to consolidate operations and support all East Coast manufacturing needs. Our design-bid-build team mitigated prior security and operational challenges by consolidating fragmented operations into a single, modernized building. We are providing comprehensive design documents that strictly adhere to Interagency Security Committee standards while confirming the design meets all evolving program requirements.

Our services include redundant telecommunications design, dual secure entrance facilities, diverse cabling, and a robust single-mode fiber backbone infrastructure. We are implementing voice/data backbone, Wi-Fi, RF radio, cellular distributed antenna systems (DAS), and emergency repeaters, enabling seamless connectivity, security, and resilience.
