Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre

The Atlantic Science Enterprise Centre (ASEC) in Moncton, New Brunswick, is a cutting-edge research facility within Laboratories Canada, dedicated to advancing scientific frontiers and ensuring the sustainability of Atlantic freshwater and coastal ecosystems. Located alongside the historic Gulf Fisheries Centre (GFC), the ASEC will unite federal scientists from Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, the National Research Council of Canada, and others.

Designed to operate with net-zero carbon emissions, the ASEC exemplifies energy efficiency and sustainability, supporting its mission to protect and sustain vital ecosystems. By facilitating interdisciplinary interactions and innovative research, the center will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Atlantic environmental conservation.
