Aqua Dome and Hotel Expansion

Salas O’Brien delivered comprehensive structural engineering design services for the Gun Lake Casino Aqua Dome & Hotel Expansion. The project features a 15-story curvilinear hotel with 252 rooms, including 30 suites, showcasing our expertise in complex hospitality structures. The centerpiece is the innovative Aquadome, a 32,000-square-foot glass-roofed, climate-controlled indoor space that transforms from a multi-level landscaped pool by day to a 2,400-seat performance complex by night.

Our team engineered versatile solutions to support this dual-purpose amenity, ensuring structural integrity for aquatic and entertainment functions. The design accommodates the unique challenges of a curved hotel tower and a large-span glazing dome, demonstrating our ability to create multifunctional, state-of-the-art spaces in the hospitality sector.
