Salas O’Brien delivered comprehensive LEED consulting, WELL certification support, and advanced whole-building energy modeling for 600 South Tryon—a premier 24-story Class A office tower in Charlotte’s vibrant city center. Our sustainability and performance solutions empowered the design team to elevate occupant health and well-being, maximize energy efficiency, and surpass challenging environmental certification targets. The development features 20,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, a structured parking podium, and an extensive amenity suite, including a conference center, co-working spaces, fitness facilities, and outdoor terraces, with approximately 410,000 square feet dedicated to leasable office space.

As a result, the building achieved both WELL v2 Gold and LEED v4 BD+C Gold certifications for core and shell, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and occupant well-being.
