Veterinary Medical Building Anatomy Lab

HVAC Renovation

Salas O’Brien performed a renovation of the Anatomy Lab HVAC system located inside of the University of Georgia’s Veterinary Medical Building.

The HVAC system originally served the whole building but was restructured to serve only the Anatomy Lab. Two manually operated exhaust fans were added to remove formaldehyde and phenol fumes from the lab area. The fans turn on when the fume levels become too high for the space. Peak occupancy levels were also included in the renovation to create the most efficient system for the lab.
