Case Study

The Rouse Company

Perimeter Mall Nordstrom Expansion

Working with the Rouse Company, developer of the Perimeter Mall in Georgia, Salas O’Brien expanded and renovated portions of this vast shopping destination. Due to the complexity of the project scope and the staging demands, the project required two phases to complete. Salas O’Brien provided electrical design services for both stages of the renovation as well as for the construction of two new parking garages with bridges connecting to the main mall complex.

The 40,000-square-foot, two-level expansion included a new Nordstrom store, new mall entrance corridors, and an expansion of the east entrance. Our team developed site lighting, electrical, and landscape lighting design for both entrances and walkway areas, thereby enhancing the design and appeal of those areas and integrating them with the older mall segments.

Salas O’Brien’s designs allowed the project to be completed on time, with the least possible interruption to normal mall operations.
