Craig Realty Group

The Citadel Outlets

As the only retail outlet center in and around Los Angeles, Craig Realty Group’s Citadel Outlets are a premier shopping destination for area residents and tourists. The center includes over 130 shops featuring brands from Armani and Kate Spade to Gap and Le Creuset, and it is easily accessible from both downtown Los Angeles and Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. With its wide range of retail options and 1,700-foot temple-like historic façade, the Citadel is a hard landmark to miss.

The Citadel Outlets’ growing popularity led its developers to invest in various renovations and additions to the property over the years. During one of these expansion projects, the owners engaged Salas O’Brien to provide mechanical and plumbing engineering design services.

This project involved new construction of 35 additional stores: Nike, Under Armour, Coach, H&M, Ralph Lauren, and Corning among them. Our engineers completed mechanical and plumbing designs for these as well as various tenant improvements to existing spaces. These designs enabled the property to reach an overall energy efficiency that was 15% better than baseline—an achievement that earned the property owner a $250,000 rebate from Southern California Edison.
