Case Study

Sprint QTS Center

Salas O’Brien provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection design and construction administration services to host a web server co-location facility. Our designs included an impressive array of electrical equipment, such as an A/B UPS system, redundant chillers, two 2 mW generators, fail-safe power and environmental control, and medium-voltage N+1 distribution. Our mechanical team incorporated a 3,600-ton chiller plant, a primary/secondary chilled-water system, and N+1 in mechanical systems such as cooling towers, chillers, pump distribution piping, and air conditioning units.

In addition to the data center, this facility also houses 20,000 square feet of office space for staff and customers.
