Measure G Rooftop Renovation Projects

Salas O’Brien was contracted to provide Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) assessment, engineering services, and construction support for Newark Unified School District Measure G funded projects.

This was a multi-phase project:

Phase I consisted of the completion of an assessment of the MEP equipment on the roof districtwide. The District’s critical need was replacing the MEP systems in conjunction with the roof replacements. The assessment involved reviewing as-built drawings, walking the school’s roofs, developing a list of recommended scope at each school and the associated construction cost. Based on the assessment, the District approved the work.

Phase II consisted of engineering design, oversite, and construction administation based on the critial needs assessment from Phase I of the project.
