Georgia Training Center

Salas O’Brien performed fundamental and enhanced commissioning for the Kia Motors Training Center in LaGrange, Georgia. The two-story, 70,000-square-foot automotive training facility houses classrooms, vehicle areas, and a server room as well as robotics, electronics, and welding laboratories, and research areas.

In completing this project, Salas O’Brien’s team commissioned mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems including all HVAC systems, the air-cooled chiller, pumps, direct digital control, variable air volume, terminal units with electric heat, the vehicle exhaust system, welding exhaust system, hot and cold water, natural gas, compressed air system, power distribution, and lighting systems. Our seasoned professionals brought decades of experience to this project and maintained excellent communication with the client liaison. At the completion of the project our team had ensured all regulations were met and exceeded in anticipation of the training center’s opening for use.
