Case Study

Fortune 15 Telecommunications Company

Homer Innovation Center

This project involved tenant improvement for a Fortune 15 telecommunications company’s Innovation Center—situated within the Cardinal French Laundry building, circa 1931, in Palo Alto, California. The 10,217-square-foot renovation included mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering as well as LEED certification services. The overall design goal was to provide a unique space that would foster collaboration while maintaining an energy-efficient, LEED Platinum certification. To achieve this goal, a large portion of the open-space interior was built with reclaimed products, low-VOC paint, and energy-efficient HVAC and lighting.

Our professional engineers designed the project to exceed Title 24 requirements by over 30%. Construction administration services and LEED documentation support were provided through project completion.
