Crosby Independent School District

New Crosby High School and Cougar Stadium

Salas O’Brien performed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for the Crosby Independent School District’s newly constructed Crosby High School as well as their new Cougar Stadium.

This project included a central plant with water cooled chillers and gas-fired boilers and two electrical services which provided 3000A and 5000A. It also included a fully sprinklered building with fire pump and domestic booster pump.

The new two-story, 415,438-square-foot high school serves the ninth through twelfth grades and offers many special programs and program areas, including an agriculture and metal shop, agriculture barn, ROTC with shooting range, culinary arts, and business media development.

The new Cougar Stadium has capacity to seat 10,000 people and is utilized by the entire Crosby Independent School District.
