Edenvale Community Center

Salas O’Brien provided full design and construction administration services including building shell, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, fire protection, DSA Coordination, and LEED design documentation for this innovative project.

The Edenvale Community Center is a multipurpose recreational facility comprised of approximately 27,400 square feet. It is a joint use facility that was erected on the existing 2-acre school campus.

This project was faced with a multitude of environmental and construction challenges including a layer of hardened rock on the build site that contained asbestos. The project team was able to work together and overcome all of the challenges and exceed the project goals.

The project achieved LEED Gold certification, DSA SB 575 compliance, and was awarded the Community Impact Project of the Year.
