Case Study

City of Hope National Medical Center

This project involved an electrical study and design for the City of Hope National Medical Center. The project began with a study to assess the existing electrical system’s condition and to develop a new work plan for electrical power connection for the carousel system. In the subsequent design stage, the Salas O’Brien team provided single-line diagrams, panel schedule, and load verification in accordance with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD). Our engineers also provided OSHPD plan check assistance, record drawings, and complete construction administration.

Working with the architect Studio+Architecture, the Salas O’Brien team subsequently provided location coordination, electrical connection, and revised panel schedule and load calculation in accordance with OSHPD for the additional equipment.
