Case Study

Alliance Town Center

Located just north of the growing Fort Worth metropolis, Alliance Town Center exemplifies the scale and excellence that has made the area a top destination in Texas. Master-planned and developed with environmental responsibility and community wellness as paramount objectives, the center combines the best in convenience, luxury, and sustainability.

When the developers laid out their plans for Alliance Town Center’s retail hub, they knew that they would need a top-notch engineering partner to achieve their ambitious sustainability goals for the space. The retail area was a joint venture between Hillwood Properties, developer of the surrounding 17,000-acre Alliance Texas community, and Trademark Property Company, a recurring client of Salas O’Brien. Both knew they could trust Salas O’Brien to provide excellent, sustainable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design—so they hired our team to fulfill the project.

The finished town center has beautiful apartments and townhomes as well as over 80 premier retail and dining venues featuring popular brands like Starbucks and Cinemark, and it seamlessly integrates with the surrounding recreational parks, trails, and beautiful community areas. The retail center’s thoughtfully planned layout as well as its highly efficient and sustainable infrastructure led it to be recognized by the U.S. Green Building Council with the prestigious LEED for Neighborhood Development certification—one of the most difficult sustainable development certifications to obtain. Our engineers were proud to be part of making this achievement possible, and we look forward to seeing Alliance Town Center and its surrounding community thrive.
