Case Study

Alliance Safety Council

Gonzales Training Center

The Alliance Safety Council is a nonprofit organization that provides training resources, identity verification, and background screening to companies in Louisiana and surrounding states. In keeping with that mission, the organization needed a new training center in Gonzales, Louisiana, to increase its ability to provide classes on safety in the workplace, community, and home.

Salas O’Brien’s extensive resources in Louisiana and history of community involvement made the company an ideal partner for the Alliance Safety Council. Salas O’Brien designed the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the council’s 11,150-square-foot training center, which includes a computer lab, multipurpose training spaces, and classrooms.

The resulting space dramatically increased the number of people the council can serve and positioned the organization as a regional training leader. The project also won the AIA Baton Rouge’s Rose Award.
