Case Study

Foothill-DeAnza Community College District

In this project, Salas O’Brien performed electrical engineering and photovoltaic services for the Foothill–DeAnza Community College District. The project covered 16,790 square feet and seven different photovoltaic systems on the campus. Our design identified and consolidated all points of connection and updated the campus’s medium-voltage single-line diagram.

The college district also contracted Salas O’Brien to provide construction administration and design for ground fault testing in two campus parking lots. This work involved meetings and heavy coordination with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company.
