Salas O’Brien provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering as well as fire protection design from conception drawings through construction documents for this in-town redevelopment multi-use project.

This seven-story property is the centerpiece of the Morristown, New Jersey rehabilitation plan which encompasses several city blocks surrounding the historic Morristown Green.

The street level of the structure consists of over 70,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The upper 6 floors contain a mix of over 200 apartments, condominiums, and lofts. The redevelopment also includes an attached 800-car multi-floor parking garage.

Due to the careful coordination required with incorporating existing structures into a new development, Salas O’Brien provided multiple sets of coordination and detailed issues logs to avoid construction coordination issues, keeping the project on schedule and within budget.
