Wally Eley honored with Canadian Consulting Engineer’s Lifetime Achievement Award
This award recognizes Wally's impactful career in consulting engineering, driving innovation in construction and infrastructure.
Wallace “Wally” Eley, P.Eng, PE, Principal Emeritus at Salas O’Brien and former CEO of Crossey Engineering, was honored with Canadian Consulting Engineer’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The award recognizes professional engineers whose careers have made a lasting impact on consulting engineering in construction and infrastructure.
Under his leadership, Crossey Engineering built a reputation as a technical leader across key North American markets, delivering innovative solutions on projects that include hospitals, universities, performing arts centers, museums, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, and casinos. Crossey joined forces with Salas O’Brien in April 2023.
Wally received 12 nominations for this year’s award—more than any other contender—underscoring his commitment to excellence and his significant contributions to the engineering industry.
