Salas O’Brien is pleased to announce that Marianna Palmour, WELL AP, LEED AP, ActiveScore AP, GRESB AP, has been named Director of Sustainability and Impact, a natural transition that reflects the firm’s commitment to accountability, sustainability, and delivering lasting, positive impact for clients and communities as expectations from stakeholders continue to evolve.

In her role, Marianna works closely with leaders across Salas O’Brien to help define priorities and shape the firm’s sustainability and impact strategy. Her work spans firmwide measurement and disclosures, as well as embedding sustainability and corporate responsibility principles into operations and project delivery to support consistent, measurable outcomes.

Over the past year, Marianna has helped build the foundation for this work, leading measurement of Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, supporting the firm’s Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) commitment, and advancing transparency through key disclosures such as EcoVadis, CDP, and climate risk reporting aligned with TCFD. She also works closely with client delivery teams to extend Salas O’Brien’s sustainability expertise to clients through practical, data‑driven solutions that improve efficiency, performance, and long‑term value.

Sustainability is embedded in how we help clients achieve their goals. Whether that means reducing waste, improving performance, identifying alternative power strategies, or supporting long‑term resilience, this role helps us deliver solutions that are both responsible and efficient. Marianna’s leadership amplifies the value for our company, our clients, and the world around us.
