Salas O’Brien proudly served as a platinum sponsor of the annual CEAS EXPO at the University of Cincinnati, held April 8, 2025. As one of the signature events on the College of Engineering and Applied Science calendar, the Expo showcases a wide range of senior capstone projects and brings together students, alumni, faculty, and industry leaders. Organized by the Engineering and Applied Science Tribunal, the event offers students a platform to share their ideas, demonstrate their talent, and make connections that shape their careers.

Salas O’Brien partnered with Valvoline Global Operations, a fellow platinum sponsor and long-standing collaborator, to host joint booths where students explored career paths in engineering and design. Together, the teams engaged with attendees, shared industry insights, and celebrated the creativity and technical excellence on display. The partnership also highlighted how student capstone projects can spark real-world industry collaboration and innovation.

Four Salas O’Brien team members served as judges, helping identify standout projects that demonstrated innovation, collaboration, and real-world application.

  • John Glenski, Principal and Senior Director of Automation and Digital
  • Brian Kauffman, Vice President and Process Engineering Department Manager
  • Dennis Gaige, Engineering Specialist
