Salas O’Brien has been recognized with three 2026 Business Achievement Awards from Environmental Business Journal (EBJ) and Climate Change Business Journal (CCBJ), reflecting a commitment that pairs deep industrial knowledge with progressive low-carbon energy solutions.

Presented annually by Environmental Business International (EBI), the EBJ and CCBJ Business Achievement Awards honor organizations that are moving the environmental and climate change industries forward in meaningful, measurable ways. Winners are selected through a competitive nomination and review process led by publication staff and editorial advisory boards, making these awards a trusted benchmark for industry leadership.

This year, Salas O’Brien was recognized for work that spans hands-on project delivery, long-term industry excellence, and forward-thinking energy solutions:

• EBJ Project Merit Award – Recognized for delivering a high-efficiency filler and pasteurizer line replacement at Molson Coors’ Albany, Georgia, facility. The project stood out for its innovative approach and operational efficiency, increasing production while improving performance and sustainability outcomes.
• EBJ 50-Year Recognition Award – Acknowledges Salas O’Brien as a long-standing contributor to the AEC and environmental industry, recognizing its commitment to excellence over five decades through evolving regulations, technologies, and client needs.
• CCBJ Low-Carbon Energy Award – Honors the firm’s work helping universities rethink energy systems and advance toward a low-carbon future. These efforts reflect a growing focus on scalable solutions that balance decarbonization goals with reliability, campus needs, and long-term performance.
