Ryan Knox, CTS-D, LEED AP, Vice President, and Ben Boeshans, CTS-D, Associate Vice President at Salas O’Brien, will present “Audio Standards in Action” at AVIXA’s InfoComm 2025 in Orlando, Florida. Their session is scheduled for June 10 at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Knox and Boeshans will dive into audio system measurement, discussing AVIXA’s Audio Coverage Uniformity, Spectral Balance standards, and STIPA. Their presentation will cover:

• The process of pre-measurement preparation
• System measurement
• Data capture and processing
• Final report generation

Ryan Knox, CTS-D, LEED AP is an expert in the interaction of amplified sound and room acoustics. Knox consults for large venues and for projects with complex geometry. He is also skilled at environmental noise control analysis for commercial and mixed-use. Knox joined the team in 2002 with a focus on projects where performance matters.

Ben Boeshans, CTS-D is well known for his work on high-performance audio designs for large venues. He has been with the team since 2010 and was active in the development of the AVIXA standards. A past member of AVIXA’s Standards Steering Committee, Boeshans is deeply committed to the audio-visual field.
