Salas O’Brien welcomes Nashville-based Ross Bryan Associates
Team brings over 75 years of structural innovation.

Salas O’Brien is expanding integrated design services by welcoming Ross Bryan Associates, a structural engineering firm with over 75 years of experience. This strategic merger unites two respected names in the built environment, enhancing value for clients across North America.
Founded in 1949 in Nashville, Tennessee, Ross Bryan Associates is known for innovation in structural design, restoration, investigation, and auditing. Throughout the 1950s, company founder Ross H. Bryan designed some of America’s first prestressed and post-tensioned concrete structures. The Nashville skyline displays the company’s efforts, from the iconic 1950s-era L&C Tower to the contemporary Music City Center. Ross Bryan’s engineers are licensed nationwide and have expertise in a variety of structural materials, all while maintaining a connection to their roots by regularly auditing precast concrete manufacturing plants throughout America.
Ross Bryan Associates will continue to operate from its Nashville office with the same leaders, team members, and commitment to quality and innovation. Ross Bryan’s clients will now have access to Salas O’Brien’s expansive resources and expertise, including technology and acoustic design, decarbonization strategies, and building systems engineering.
