Fred Campagna, Director of Forensic Meteorology at Salas O’Brien, will be a featured panelist at the Loss Executives Association’s 2025 Spring Conference in Newport, Rhode Island. Fred will speak on Thursday, June 5, in a session titled “Forensic Meteorology: Uses and Limitations.”

With over 25 years of meteorology experience and a broadcast background, Campagna now applies his expertise to forensic weather reporting for clients facing property claims involving hail, wind, flood, hurricanes, snow, ice, and more. His work helps Salas O’Brien identify weather-related impacts and support dispute resolution.

Campagna’s session will walk attendees through the expanding field of forensic meteorology. It will cover primary sources of weather data and their uses in insurance and legal contexts. Campagna will also share real-world case studies to show how meteorological analysis supports claim decisions.
