First-Class Amenities for Premier Basketball Arena in Southwest

Reed Arena is Texas A&M’s chief sports arena and entertainment venue. Seating 12,500, this facility is used for Texas A&M basketball games and commencement ceremonies, concerts, trade shows, family entertainment, and student programs, including the on-campus Aggie Muster (an annual tradition that honors all departed members of the Aggie family).

The university’s dedicated students, alumni, and extended community require facilities that can accommodate their robust athletic and entertainment needs. To meet this demand, we provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design for two practice gyms, coaches’ offices, training facility, and dressing rooms. In 2017, we also provided acoustics and loudspeaker recommendations for the main arena working with Populous.

Our work on this project supports one of the best basketball arenas in the southwest and provides first-class amenities not only for Aggie basketball but for myriad other community events.
